Position Summary
The Senior Design Architect is responsible for proficiently managing design tasks and time as directed by the supervisor, ensuring all work meets MCG’s quality standards15. This role involves developing creative ideas, producing detailed drawings, and coordinating with the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and create all shop drawings and manage site coordination works.
- Develop new, creative ideas to bring the project to its fullest potential.
- Explain and design the minute details of the project.
- Coordinate with all other disciplines (structural, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
- Work closely with the Design Team Leader before, during, and after the shop drawing process.
- Ensure all work is delivered in the best way possible and on time.
- Possess adequate knowledge of general site finishes and implementation methods.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture.
- Experience: 6-8 years in the same field.
- Strong computer drafting skills and manual presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commendable understanding of architectural design practices.
- Language: Good command of English.
