Position Summary
The Team Leader for Design is a senior creative position responsible for providing supervision, guidance, and team leadership within the Design Department. This role is focused on conceptualizing and developing new projects from scratch, driving the creative vision, and producing high-quality 2D and 3D architectural designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative process, developing innovative ideas and designing projects from the ground up.
- Direct and supervise the team in creating all architectural drawings, including projections, façades, sectors, and intricate architectural details.
- Guide the team in developing and explaining the project’s design vision and finest details.
- Oversee the professional use of 2D and 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D Sketch Up.
- Ensure all design work is delivered on time and to the highest quality standard.
- Coordinate effectively with all other disciplines (structural, electrical, and mechanical) to ensure a fully integrated and viable design.
- Submit daily reports to the line manager, detailing project status, completion rates, and timelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10-15 years in the same field.
- A commendable understanding of architectural design practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate complex projects and highlight ideas that lead to constructive, buildable works.
- Strong personal competencies, including multitasking, conflict resolution, and persuasive communication.
- Language: Good command of English.
