Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing all phases of a construction project, from initiation to completion. This senior role ensures the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to MCG’s rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to closeout, ensuring all objectives are met.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, utilizing project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Manage all project resources, including labor, materials, and subcontractors.
- Lead project procurement, including bid evaluations and contract negotiations.
- Serve as the primary point of communication, liaising between clients, consultants, architects, and internal teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and all regulatory requirements.
- Implement and manage quality control programs to ensure the highest standards of construction.
- Track project progress, prepare detailed status reports for senior management, and manage all project documentation, change orders, and RFIs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Experience: 8+ years of proven experience in construction project management, preferably on large-scale hospitality, residential, or mixed-use projects.
- Certifications: PMP certification is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Expert proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
