Project Overview
At Amarina’s Marsa Allam resort, MCG designed guest rooms and a signature seafood restaurant around the warmth and colour of the southern Red Sea. The rooms lean into natural, earthy materials; the Fish Restaurant leans into the sea itself — a playful, nautical dining room that celebrates its coastal setting.
Design Philosophy
The style is warm coastal with a nautical heart. Natural timber and earthy tones ground the rooms, while the Fish Restaurant turns its seaside setting into a full design narrative.
Key Features
Rooms in Warm Earth
Timber headboards, rattan bedside cabinets, a fringed round mirror and woven pendants give the guest rooms a warm, boho-contemporary character. Earthy tones and natural textures echo the desert-meets-sea landscape outside.
A Catch of the Day
The Fish Restaurant is pure coastal storytelling — draped navy fabric that ripples like waves, fishing-net wall art, rope detailing, nautical striped banquettes and lush greenery, all over a geometric timber-inlaid floor. Immersive, characterful and unmistakably a seafood destination.
