Project Overview
Where its sister boutique looks to the Aegean, La Perause turns to the French countryside. MCG’s guest-room interiors are a soft, romantic composition of patterned wallpaper, gilt-framed art and gentle sage tones — an homage to French Provençal living, tailored for a coastal boutique hotel in El Gouna.
Design Philosophy
The style is French Provençal elegance. Soft greens, patterned surfaces and classical detail come together in a romantic, characterful guest room — the perfect counterpoint to its crisp Aegean neighbour.
Key Features
A French Country Romance
Damask-patterned wallpaper, classically framed floral and portrait artworks and delicate wainscoting create an atmosphere of unhurried elegance. The room reads like a well-loved country retreat — refined, warm and quietly nostalgic.
Layered Comfort
A sage-green upholstered headboard, striped and gingham textiles, table lamps and soft rugs build the room in gentle layers. The palette stays muted and harmonious, so comfort and character never compete.
