Project Overview
One of MCG’s realised hospitality projects, Amarina Abu Soma pairs two restaurants of very different character — both designed and delivered by the studio. Luca Toni is a bold, industrial-Italian dining room; Zeina is a festive oriental café. Together they show MCG’s range in food-and-beverage design and its ability to build immersive, story-led interiors.
Design Philosophy
The style is character-driven F&B design. Two restaurants, two strong identities — one industrial and Italian, one colourful and oriental — both designed to be experienced, not just dined in.
Key Features
Luca Toni: Industrial Italian
Exposed red brick, navy button-tufted leather banquettes, woven rattan pendants and encaustic tiles create a warm, characterful trattoria with an urban edge. It is convivial and confident — an Italian dining room with real personality.
Zeina: An Oriental Celebration
Zeina turns up the colour: a cascade of pastel oriental glass pendants, a turquoise zellige bar, backlit mandala screens and classic oval-back chairs over patterned floors. The result is festive, atmospheric and unmistakably Eastern Mediterranean.
