Project Overview

  • The Rehab City Lifestyle Mall is a strategic commercial development designed to provide a high-spec retail environment within one of New Cairo’s most established residential districts. Moving beyond traditional shopping centers, this project acts as a “Social Collector”—a multi-level ecosystem that seamlessly integrates international retail brands, high-end dining, and world-class entertainment. By offering a curated mix of commercial typologies—including a Hypermarket and a Cinema complex—the project ensures a 24-hour cycle of activity, catering to the sophisticated lifestyle of the surrounding community.

Design Philosophy

The design philosophy for the mall is centered on Volumetric Transparency and the creation of an indoor "Urban Park" atmosphere.

  • The Tree-Form Structural Language: The primary architectural signature is the use of white, branching structural columns that mimic organic tree forms. These elements support the massive glass roof while breaking down the scale of the interior, providing a rhythmic, biophilic quality to the central atrium.

  • Atmospheric Luminosity: The philosophy utilizes a High-Performance Glazed Envelope to flood the multi-level commercial spaces with natural light. This reduces the need for artificial lighting during the day and creates a constantly changing play of light and shadow across the marble-clad promenades.

  • Aquatic Focal Points: Integrating water as an architectural material, the design features indoor cascading waterfalls and reflective elements that serve as thermal regulators and visual anchors, enhancing the mall's tranquil, premium atmosphere.

  •

Key Features

  • Multi-Level Vertical Connectivity: The mall is organized around a grand central atrium, connected by a network of sculptural escalators and bridges that encourage "Visual Discovery"—allowing visitors to view retail offerings across all levels simultaneously.

  • The Elevated Dining Terrace: A signature feature is the curvilinear mezzanine dedicated to outdoor and indoor restaurants, offering panoramic views of the internal landscape and the city beyond.

  • Premier Retail Stratification: The layout is engineered for high-traffic efficiency, positioning a Hypermarket as a basement anchor and placing luxury fashion houses and high-street brands along the primary "Light-Filled" corridors.

  • Environmental Materiality: A palette of polished white marble, warm timber flooring in social zones, and brushed stainless steel creates a timeless, high-contrast aesthetic that reflects the project’s luxury positioning.
